Newburyport Half Marathon
The inaugural Newburyport Green Stride Half Marathon on SUNDAY, at 10 AM on October 23rd was a complete success!

Who's ready to do this again? We will have a 2012 date within a week...HOWEVER, club LOCO is having their One Lucky Guy 1/2 on Nov 6th right in Newburyport. In fact the 2 courses share the back reservoir loop....sweet. There already 900+ in this race, so sign up soon!! www.allwomenshalf.com
Newburyport has also recently been recognized by Gov. Patrick as a green city and a leader in sustainable energy. It is our goal to help promote an eco-friendly lifestyle by inviting businesses large or small and local or national with a green initiative within their business plan to be onsite and raise awareness of living in a green community.
The North End Boat Club has been able to create a beautiful course during peak foliage season that will gain the attention of runners from around New England and beyond. This event will have top cash prizes, delicious food, great beer and rockin bands. We encourage everyone to join us for a fun and exciting day.
